Are you a teacher who’s passionate about using technology in the classroom? If so,
Google Educator Groups might be the opportunity you’re looking for to meet other teachers who want to learn, share and inspire one another to deliver the best possible educational experience using the web. GEG is run by passionate individuals in the educator community, and is open to anyone to join.
You can be a principal, a school administrator, a professor, a student, or just someone interested in using Google products to help people learn. To find out more about joining or starting a new GEG group in your area, check out the GEG website at
www.google.com/landing/geg.
Over the past few months in Asia Pacific, we’ve incubated several
pilot GEG communities across Australia, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines and Singapore. These groups have come together to explore creative ways of using technology and apps to conduct quizzes, track grades and use blogs for writing assignments. The idea is to make learning more fun and help students get ahead through the use of technology.
